Great work by Brendan Shanahan on his first ever announced suspension.
Earlier today they announced that Horton will not return to the lineup for this hit. He is out with a severe concussion (I almost know how it feels). So Horton can't play for the rest of this series. What's fair? Rome can't play for the rest of the series either. He's suspended 4 games and the most games left there can possibly be is 4. So I think it's the right call by the NHL and Shanahan.
If the series ends before 7 games, then the suspension carries over into next year's regular season.
